Overview

English III is one of the fourth-year core courses of the English major in the undergraduate Education program. In most cases, this course is simultaneously taken with Literature and the elective Evaluation. Although the concentration of the subject is on listening and speaking skills, reading and writing are not overlooked.
In the English III course students are exposed to written texts and listenings. They also have the opportunity to discuss and share ideas and opinions in the classroom. Some of the skills the students will work include but are not limited to inferring, hearing, and taking notes, producing speech acts, and developing a presentation. Likewise, students may bring to the classroom materials on any  topics of their interest.
